Deze week geen gewone plaat, maar een reis naar Middle-earth. Op **The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings Film Music Collection** brengt het **The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra** de mooiste muziek uit de filmwerelden van Tolkien samen. Van de rustige schoonheid van de Shire tot de epische veldslagen van Mordor: alles zit erin.

Voor mij blijft dit gewoonweg de beste filmsoundtrack die ooit gemaakt is. De muziek van Howard Shore is tijdloos en tilt de films naar een nog hoger niveau. En laten we eerlijk zijn: goeie muziek en goeie films vormen een combinatie die moeilijk te kloppen is.

Een plaat die elke fan van Tolkien, film of orkestrale muziek in huis zou moeten hebben.
