# Rijen dik voor carnavalsstoet in het centrum

Wat een volk, lang geleden dat er echt rijen dik stonden langs het parcours, en dit voor 31 praalwagens. Volgens de organisatoren zouden er een **8 à 10.000** bezoekers geweest zijn vamiddag!

De vele Lommelse carnavalsverenigingen hadden dan ook weer hun uiterste best gedaan om niet alleen zichzelf mooi 'op te tutten', maar ook de wagens zagen er weer bijzonder mooi uit. Degene die het meest bij de actualiteit aansloot was zeker deze van de Barrierse Rietschieters met als thema 'Barbie' en ook de connectie met 'Knokke off'.

En morgen verplaatst het circus zich naar Lutlommel met in de namiddag de kinderstoet.
