# Jeugd RC Murphy's loopt 2.046,80 euro bijeen

De jeugdspelers van rugbyclub Murphy's Lommel hebben vrijdag met hun sponsorloop **2.046,80 euro** bijeengelopen voor de club. Deelnemers van 5 tot 16 jaar legden rondjes van 200 meter af, elk met eigen sponsors achter zich.

Murphy's begint aan zijn 21ste seizoen, telt intussen meer dan 90 leden en blijft groeien. De club draait volledig op vrijwilligers: ouders, trainers en bestuursleden.

De jeugd traint op woensdag en vrijdag op Murphy's Field aan de Pijnvenstraat in Kerkhoven. Dames en heren trainen dinsdag en vrijdag 's avonds. Info via [bestuur@rcmurphys.be](mailto:bestuur@rcmurphys.be) of [rcmurphys.be](https://rcmurphys.be/).

## Seizoen start dit weekend

De heren openen zondag om 15u op verplaatsing bij E. Aalst-Hamme. Een week later volgt de rest: op zaterdag 19 september spelen de dames hun eerste thuiswedstrijd op Murphy's Field (15u, tegen RC Hamme), met ook wedstrijden voor U14 en U16.
